Ronald Bresolin Sr.

Ronald R. Bresolin, Sr. passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2015. Son of Samuel A. and Anna L. Bresolin, Ron was born June 5, 1939 in McCloud, CA. Ron attended Redding area grammar schools, graduated from Shasta High School in 1957, and graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1961 with a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in accounting. Ron started his career with the "Big Eight" firm of Touche Ross in San Francisco where he learned the intricacies of accounting and taxation. Ron earned his CPA degree in San Francisco then moved his family to Redding in 1966 where he continued to practice public accounting until his death. During his lifetime Ron volunteered his time and talents with Redding Youth Baseball, Redding Breakfast Lions, Redding Swim Team, Northern C's (Cal Alumni) and Haven Humane Society. Ron was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Redding Breakfast Lions, and Riverview Golf and Country Club. Ron was predeceased by his parents, son Mark, and is survived by his wife Eleanor Irene and son Ron, Jr. (Gail), of Redding. Ron is also survived by his granddaughter Morgan, his daughter-in-law Yvonne and his brother Gary (Mary), all of Sacramento. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be sent to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Shasta Historical Society, Another Chance Animal Welfare League or Northern C's Scholarship Fund. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 9th, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 3961 Alta Mesa Drive, Redding, CA.
