his home in Shasta Lake, Ca with family by his side. The anniversary
of his marrying the love of his life, Susan Kay Parker, 66 years ago.
Tom was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to unknown parents and was
adopted by Carl Edward and Adelina Schnee as a baby. They moved
around to various locations over the years ending up in Long Beach,
Ca. There, he attended Woodrow Wilson High School where he first
met, dated and eventually married Sue.
He went to Diesel school and started working in that field in San
Diego, CA. While there he migrated to full time mechanic work in the
recreational boating industry, moving to Santa Ana, CA to work for
Jim Harrison. Jim eventually started a new business in Redding, CA
and Tom followed him there.
Tom and Sue loved traveling via car, ship, train and river raft.
Taking many trips alone and with various family members including
their children, Fran and Bill Brown (Sue’s sister and her husband), grand
children and great grand children. The Cribbean/Panama Canal/
Western Mexico cruise was one of their favorites.
Dad loved watching TV sports and western shows and visiting with
friends and family. He retired as Service Manager for Harrison's
Marine Center in Redding, Ca.
Tom is survived by Mark his son, Linda his daughter, 4 grand children
and 8 great grand children.
