She was a believer and is with the Lord Jesus.
Trudy was born in Germany, February 16, 1940. She followed Harry to Newark, NJ in 1960, as Harry had immigrated in 1959. They were married February 25, 1961 celebrating 63 years of marriage this year. After the wedding they loaded up his 1955 Mercury and made the journey to Redding, in 5 1/2 days, to join Harry's brother Wally and his family that were living here.
Their daughter Nancy arrived in 1962 and David arrived in 1965. She loved her children and was so very proud of them. She was always there for them and did so much to show them her love. Her family grew to include her son-in-law Kevin Noller and daughter-in-law Michelle. Then came her 6 grandchildren: Nicole, Katrina (Christian), Sabrina (Jared), Brianna (Chris), Wendy (Caleb), and Brian. She loved being an Oma and really spoiled he grandkids! Her 5 great-grandchildren: Luke, Millie, Callie, Jonah, & Molly were an extra blessing.
Trudy was blessed with many friends, too numerous to mention, you all know who you are. She loved to laugh. She was so giving and showed her love to all by serving others. Her baking and cooking skills were top notch and you never went away hungry. Harry and Trudy were faithful members of First Baptist Church where Trudy loved to sing in the choir. She loved music and had a beautiful voice and played the guitar and harmonica.
Trudy and Harry had 63 wonderful years together and did everything together. The list is long of their times and memories. Now I, Harry, am lost without you Trudy. We have known each other since we were kids growing up in Uslar. I miss you. We all miss you. You were such a big part of our family.
I miss you my love. Until we meet again, I love you.
A graveside service for Trudy will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McDonald's Chapel, 1275 Continental Street, Redding, CA 96001.
