Annie Joe Phillips, 92, of Quinton, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benoy Phillips; parents; six sisters; and one brother. Annie enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jovonna Wood “Jo” (Bud) and Keith Phillips; grandchildren, Kevin Wood, Charlie Wood (Sharron) and Shawna Stockdale (Jerry); brother, James Ensley; great-grandchildren, Briana Wood, Makayla Wood, Kira Wood, Braedon Wood, Erica Smith, Hunter Smith, Selene Gellan, and Gabby Gellan; and four great great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Providence United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 118, Quinton, VA 23141.
