Bessie Major Webb

WEBB, Bessie Major, 91, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2018. A retiree from Wal-Mart, Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest V. Webb. She is survived by her son, James Sluder (LJ) and his daughter, Jennifer Sluder. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law, Marcia Sluder; sister-in-law, Betty Major; numerous nieces and nephews, especially Tim and Barbara McCullough; also extended family, Cookie and Glenn See of New Mexico. The family would like to thank Debbie Jacobs for all of her kindness extended to Bessie, also the staff of The Haven Assisted Living and Amedisys Hospice employees. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to meet at Nelsen Funeral Home and leave in a procession at 1:30 p.m. to the cemetery.
