Obituary of Danjanec Antoinette Womack
"Blessed is the one who perserveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the lord has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 Danjanec Antoinette Womack left with her angel early Sunday morning, February 02, 2020, in her home at 5:06 a.m., in Richmond, Virginia. Danjanec was born in Richmond, Virginia; she was part of a huge and loving family. Danjanec grew up and attended schools in Richmond, Virginia. Danjanec was a strong minded individual, with a strong personality. She excelled in her studies; taking advance courses all through school, pledging Alpha Kappa Alpha in middle school, becoming one of the youngest and first to work with Richmond’s Mayors office- workforce summer program, and later, graduating high school and attending St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia. Danjanec worked for Virginia Premier as a Credentialing Assistant, until she was unable to work. “It was nothing to see her stepping out of the car, with her big stick to keep her steady going to work.” Danjanec is survived by her mother, Kim L. Walton-Durham; father, Eldon E. Womack; step-father, Ernest J. Durham; children, Maliek Johnson and Mekhi Womack; and siblings, Alexandra Walton, Ashley Zimmermen, Keysean Stith, Mark Drye, Sydney Clark, ShaQuana Womack, and Jazmin Womack. A celebration of Danjanec's life will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, February 09, 2020 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23231.
