ROBINS, David Michael, 55, of Sandston, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Russell Robins, III and Sarah Ammons Robins. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy Farrar Robins; and his son, Benjamin “Ben” Russell Robins, IV; three sisters, Judy R. (Jim) Pittman, Robin R. (Sid) Riggins, and Kim R. Howle; seven nieces; and one nephew. He considered Sandston Baptist Church his church home. David loved the Lord and lived life to the fullest. He had a great sense of humor that everyone loved. He enjoyed fishing and boating. Some of his best days were spent teaching and then watching his son play baseball. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, from 2-4 & 6-8pm, with the funeral service held on Tuesday, March 3, at 11:00am. All services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond. Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandston Baptist Church, 100 W. Williamsburg Rd., Sandston, VA 23150.
