Devin Wayne Samuels

Devin was a proud graduate from New Kent High School and was a utility equipment operator with Mastec Utilities. He attended New Kent Christian Center and was a member of the HKZ – High Kingz Truck Club.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Barbara Samuels and Woody “Papa” Samuels and his pet, Odie Dog. Devin will be missed everyday by his parents, Wayne & Michelle Samuels, his very special sister, Brinley Samuels; grandparents, Alan & Becky Williamson and Sandy Samuels; uncle and aunt, Mike & Angie Kelly; cousins, Austin & Landon Kelly; his fishing buddy “Uncle Wayne”; the HKZ and other truck clubs; along with a host of family on both the Samuels and Williamson sides and many, many, friends.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m. at New Kent Christian Center, 9660 Tunstall Road, New Kent, VA 23124.
