On January 6, 2014 Dorothy "Lue" Ford, age 77, took her place in heaven with loved ones gone before her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross (Rocky) Ford; her parents, John & Sadie Olgers; sisters, Helen Thomas and Lois LeMaster; brothers, Robert Olgers and John Olgers. She is survived by her sister, Mary "Sister" Gerheart; and many nieces and nephews. Lue was loved dearly by family and friends and always had a kind word to say. She formerly worked at A. H. Robins and Freeman Marks. She was a long time member of Sandston Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday January 10th at 11am at Nelsen Funeral Home; followed by a service in the chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sandston Baptist Church.
