Elmer L. McDaniel, Jr., 80, of Henrico, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Constance McDaniel; brother, Charles; and sister, Martha. Elmer worked as a manager with National Garages. He enjoyed spending time tending to his garden. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Mary McDaniel; son, Jerry McDaniel; daughter, Karen Flint; grandchildren, Clarisa and Monica Flint; sister, Rosa Lee Campbell; niece, Sandra Campbell; and nephew, Ricky Hurwitz. A memorial service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11 a.m.
