Elwood Roger Brent Sr., 92, of Highland Springs VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Elwood is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Margaret G. Brent; and his daughter, Reita Brent Martin. Elwood was a proud Army World War II Veteran who served at the Battle of Bulge and was a WWII POW member. He loved his church and retired from Winn Bus Lines as a Tour Bus Operator after many years of dedicated service. Elwood leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Elwood Roger Brent Jr. (Frances), Rebecca B. Sears (James), Rose B. Jacobsen (Chris) and Richard D. Brent (Diane); eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31 from 6-8pm with funeral services on Sunday, February 1 at 11am. All services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231.
