Florence Arlene Sammons Clifton

She is survived by her Son James “Jimmy” Clifton (Theresa), one grandson Matthew, three granddaughters, her brother Thomas Sammons (Barbara), a host of Nieces and Nephews whom she loved, in particular Deborah & Shirley who were like daughters to her and many cherished friends in particular Marion “Goldie” Catlett.

Florence had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with those she loved and her Sunday School class at church. She loved her job as a delivery person for various florists around town over the years as it put her in touch with people who she came to know and form friendships with.

She loved her Lord, her family, friends and country and was a proud Virginian! She will be missed by all her knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
