He is survived by his partner of over 20 years, Laurie Scott; mother, Joan D. Faison; daughter, Carrie L. Faison; brothers, Robert S. Faison Jr., Michael A. Faison (Katie); and sister, Michelle S. Myers; as well as a niece, nephews, and extended family. Music was a big part of his life. He was a skilled musician who found joy in playing for family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
