Jessica Nichole Gallmeyer

Jessica Nichole Gallmeyer, 27, of Sandston, passed away on February 6, 2014. Jessica loved the Lord with all of her heart and prayed daily for others and herself. She loved her sons, Christopher and Vinny with all of her heart and soul. She lived and breathed those boys and was a great mother. She deeply loved her sister, Amanda, her family, and friends. She made it a point to tell everyone she loved them because in her words, “If I never see them again I want them to never have any doubt that I loved them.” She was a great lover of animals, nature, and people. She tried to save every lost soul and stray animal giving them all food and shelter above her own needs. She loved music and singing. She had a contagious smile and laugh. She literally gave the shirt off of her back to those who were in need. She and her sister Amanda were best friends and shared a beautiful bond. Although their spirits remain alive here with us all, they are now also enjoying the best that there is in heaven, together at the foot of Jesus Christ. Jessica was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Brooke Irby by only one day, as well as, birth mother, Annette Kerr and her grandmother Judy Donoho. Jessica is survived by her sons, Christopher and Vincent (Vinny); mother, Lisa Irby and her companion Rod Grossé; father and step-mother, Steve and Nancy Gallmeyer; brother, Stephen Gallmeyer Jr.; step brothers, Chris and Andy Sheldon, Dave Nuckols, Adam Saunders, and Travis Webb; maternal grandparents, Paul and Diane Chapman from Sandston; paternal grandparents, William and Marilyn Gallmeyer; grandfather, Kenny Rankin; great-grandfather, Paul L. Chapman; uncle and aunt, Randy and Caren Chapman; niece Olivia Chapman; uncle, Louis Gallmeyer II; nephews Zachary, Patrick and Louis Gallmeyer and a host of other family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00a.m. at Hanover Church of Nazarene, 8391 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
