John M. Bowles, III

John M. Bowles, III, beloved husband to Jo. Born December 5, 1953, to Annie and John Bowles, Jr., in Richmond, Va., passed into the arms of Jesus on July 12, 2018. John was daddy to three girls, Nicole, Deanna and Jessi. Grandfather to eight children and great grandfather to one precious baby girl. Brother to Peggy Davenport (Billy) and Carol (predeceased him) and numerous cousins and extended family. He was an avid fisherman, a Journeyman ironworker, and member of Local 28. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donate to Operation Smile or the SPCA.
