K. W. "Bubba" Hilliard

K.W. “Bubba” Hilliard, 69, of Quinton, entered heaven’s gate on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Eugene Hilliard; and mother, Frances Ella Adams. He was a retired firefighter with Henrico County Fire Department. Bubba was also a member of the Moose Lodge for 40 years and a Free Mason. Left to cherish his memory are his partner, Jeanne Allen; children, Bobbi-Jo Marwitz (Eric), Jon Hilliard (Jenny), Ann Maiden; grandchildren, Jacob and Jordon Hilliard; siblings, Benjamin Adams, Wendy Bragg, Belinda Miller, Ginger Talley; and stepfather, Thomas Adams. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, 2010 Carlisle Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, with interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
