Keith Shannon Wicks

WICKS, Keith Shannon, departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, after a boating accident, on Sunday, September 28, 2014. Keith is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Wicks. Keith is survived by his devoted wife Shirley Wicks; father, James Wicks and step-mother Ruth of Mobile, AL; brothers, Rev. Matthew Wicks and wife Rachel and their children of Auburn AL, Mark Wicks and Wife Stacey and their children of Mobile, AL; step-children Tyler Adams Sr. and wife Debra and Jennifer Adams; nephews Hunter Clarke and Matthew Manning. Keith also leaves behind a treasured friend of 20 years, Ben Rideout. Keith, more than anything loved being a grandpa to 4 grandchildren. Tyler Adams Jr., Samantha Lifsey, Isaiah Barnett, and Kaleb Barnett. Keith was a valued and senior member of Southwest Airlines for over 16 years. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and special bond with his grandson Tyler Jr. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 5, 2014 from 5 - 8 pm with a rosary recited at 6pm at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 828 Buford Rd, Richmond, VA 23235; where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday October 6, 2014 at 2pm.
