Lloyd Adrian Osby

OSBY, Lloyd Adrian, January 5, 1925 to May 24, 2018. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years and the love of his life, Grace Thelma Brooks Osby, and a daughter, Heidi Gail Osby LoMonaco. He is survived by his son, William Lloyd Osby (Lee), and daughter, Wendy Kay Osby Brandon (Robert); 4 granddaughters; Tracy LoMonaco, Kimberly Osby Robison (Mike), Stephanie Osby White (Adam), and Arianna LoMonaco Lautner (Garret); 4 Grandsons; Adrian LoMonaco, Adam LoMonaco (Shaeia), John Brandon, and James Brandon; 3 great-granddaughters, and 2 great-grandsons. Both he and his wife were faithfully served by their caregiver, Joyce Johnson, for many years. He served in World-Way II as a member of the 3rd Infantry Division. He was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. He was known for his great heart and great sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 on Tuesday May 29th, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Sandston Baptist Church, 100 West Williamsburg Road, Sandston VA 23150 at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, with interment immediately following at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
