She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Gibson, Jr. She is survived by her son, Benjamin C. Gibson and granddaughter, Kylie M. Gibson.
Lorene loved her weekly knitting group at St. John’s Church and looked forward to the happiness, laughter and joy it brought her.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 7, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
