Louis Herbert Bell, Jr.

Louis Herbert Bell, Jr., 66, of Providence Forge, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Herbert Bell Sr. and Hattie Gill Bell. Louis retired from Ryder after working in trucking maintenance for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, woodworking, flying kites, listening to country music and loved trips to the beach. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Barbara Glasheen Bell; sister, Barbara Bell Wilson; nephew, William Wirt Wilson Jr. (Marie); niece, Mary Ellen Cox (Richard); great-nephew, Thomas Ray Cox; great-niece, Carly Ellen Cox; and many extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 15810 Liberty Church Rd., Lanexa, Va. 23089, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
