Madeline Oliver Fenne

Fenne, Madeline Oliver, 85, of Henrico, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Fenne, Sr.; parents, Hiram and Nellie Oliver; siblings, Hiram L. Oliver, Jr., Elnora S. Oliver and Mary Elizabeth Blackwell; and grandchild, Abigail Lynne Wood. She was a retired employee of A. H. Robins, inventory control. She loved reading and cross-stitching and especially loved her pet dog, Tobie. She is survived by her three children, Deborah (Richard) Fenne Gillespie, Robert Ericson Fenne, Jr. and Denise (Carlton) Fenne Wood; eight grandchildren, Ricky Gillespie, Allison (Matthew) Casella, Brianne Gillespie, Benjamin Fenne, Elizabeth Fenne, Travis Wood, Seth Wood and Maddie Wood; two great-grandchildren, Eli Casella and Hadley Casella; sisters-in-law, Ruth Owen, Cora Mowatt and Dorothy Bosher; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 2 p .m.
