DAVIS, Nancy Ann, 79, of Richmond, VA, born in Charlotte, NC, passed away, Tuesday, September 16, 2014. She is preceded in death by parents, W.L and Lela Ray; and sister, Irma Cash. Nancy is survived by her devoted son, Gene Davis; devoted companion, Otis McKay; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy worked for VA Farm Bureau in claims; where she retired in 2013. She was an avid bowler, member of the Sandston Moose, and loved visiting casinos. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, September, 23 2014 from 12-2 pm at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208; where a chapel service will follow at 2pm.
