Nancy Sue Hopkins

Nancy Sue Hopkins, 77, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2015 with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She touched the lives of many children that still call her “Mama Nance”. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Worrell; brothers, Wayne and Pete Worrell; and sister, Clara Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas C. “T.C.” Hopkins; children and their spouses, Tommy and Sylvia Hopkins, Rita and Thomas Johnson, Pamela and Michael Reed, Sheila and Victor Ferrell and Mary and Steve Prial; siblings, Brenda P. Worrell, Mickey Quesenberry and Johnny Worrell; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Life Church, 16801 Harrowgate Rd, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 where services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
