

Pendleton, Nina Law, 80, of Sandston, VA, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. P. and Ruth Law; and ten of her siblings. Born in North Carolina, she was raised in Cascade, VA, and moved to the Richmond area in the early 1950’s. Nina was a retired employee of Central Fidelity Bank, where she happily served the Highland Springs and Sandston communities for many years. She was a long time member of Fort Lee Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship and support of her friends in the Ruth Class. Nina is survived by her husband of 61 years, William (Bill) Pendleton; four children, Vickie Wall (Scott), Nina Diane Delaney (John), Tracy Pendleton (Susan) and Kandi Sant’Anna (Xel); nine grandchildren, Aimee (Alex), Jacob, Nicole (Tyler), Jacquelyn (Bucky), Jake, Mallory (Matt), Abby, Gabrielle and Alison; six great grandchildren, Alexander, Victoria, Maddox, Gabe, John and Declan; two siblings, Troy Law (Earline) and Jane Law Duckett. She loved her large, extended family and drew great pride in being known as the “13th Law.” The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13th at Nelsen’s Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15th at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Road, Richmond, VA. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, as she supported so many.
