Patrick Dean Hughes

Patrick "Pat" Hughes, 61, of Sandston, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest J. Hughes, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley Hughes; children, Amy, Kirsten, and Christian Hughes; siblings, Lisa Hartz (Doug) and Mike Hughes (Sunday); and best friend, Tommy Wilson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
