HERYCYK, Richard J., “Rick,” 59, passed away June 19, 2019 at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, Va., and joined his mother and father in heaven. He was born May 17, 1960 in Fontainebleau, France. Rick served in the U.S. Army Infantry Old Guard at Fort Myer in Arlington, Va. After he was honorably discharged, he worked for The State of Virginia. He truly lived life to the fullest and loved to hunt and fish as well as spending time with his family and friends. Rick is survived by his sister Kathy Herycyk of Rocky Mount, VA.; his brother, Joseph J. Herycyk of Titusville, Fla.; his sister, Julia Hadfield of Republic, Penn.; his brother, Frank Herycyk of Aurora. Co. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends and all the lives he touched are invited to a visitation from 1-4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13 at Nelsen Funeral Home Reception Center, 4660 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231.
