Robert “Bobby” Henry Gruber, 70, of Hanover passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was retired from the City of Richmond Fire Department and Police Department. He graduated from John Marshall High School and served in the U. S. Army. He loved Hot Rod cars, NASCAR, drag racing and hanging out with his friends at Hardee’s. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Jordan; children, Troy Gruber and Terri Nunn; four half-brothers, Paul, Carl, Henry and Kurt Gruber; and cousin, John Jackson. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 with a service to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
