He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Whitley; mother, Emma M. Whitley; and fiancé, Dianna Jarvis. Ronald worked as a truck driver.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sharron Nyree Shepperson; grandchildren, Saniya Dianna Shepperson, Nyla May Shepperson, Rylee Michelle Shepperson, and Oliviya Rai Shepperson; siblings, Wanda Sawyer (Tyrone) and Frank Whitley (Emily); and his beloved companion, Roscoe.
