ALEXANDER, Stanley L., of Shady Side, Md., formerly of Richmond, died August 22, 2015. A computer technician with General Dynamics, Stanley learned Computer Systems during his four years in the U.S. Air Force, then began a career in I.T. with Digital, Compaq and HP for the next 25 years. He enjoyed photography and taking pictures, and helping with audio and vocal presentations at meetings. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Garnett Tunstall Alexander Sr. and Thelma Anglen Barnett. He is survived by his sons, Daniel and Christopher Alexander; his brother, Garnett Alexander Jr.; and his sister, Sandra Smith. His remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., where the family will receive friends Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, and where funeral services will be held at 12 noon. Interment Washington Memorial Park.
