Thomas Eugene Fadely Sr.

Fadely, Thomas Eugene, Sr., of Varina, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, five days shy of his ninety-fifth birthday. He was the son of the late, Charles Lester Fadely and Delia Pence Fadely. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Loraine Bottoms Fadely; and his daughter, Elva Lee Fadely Aigner. He is survived by his son, Thomas E. Fadely, Jr. and wife, Charlotte, of Varina; brother-in-law, Leonard L. Bottoms, Jr. (Carol); and four grandchildren, Cindy Aigner Ames (Mike), Jodie Aigner DeSisto (Mike), Steven W. Fadely (Kathy), Daniel W. Fadely (Tracy); eight great-grandchildren, Harley, Emily, Daniel, Michelle, Kristen, Aaron, Michael, and Jessica; two great-great-grandchildren, Kora and Makenna; as well as many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and treasured friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 26 at 11 a.m. at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Rd., Henrico, VA 23231. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Mile Creek Baptist Church/Music.
