Anthony Carson "Tony" Ingram, age 79, of Varina, Virginia, passed away at VCU Medical Center surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
Tony was born January 7, 1942 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Hampton and Clara Ingram. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Riggy.
Tony worked in retail sales (Drug Way), was a real estate broker, and promoted car shows within the Richmond area. He was an avid saltwater fisherman and spent great times with family fishing offshore of Cape Hatteras. Family and friends will surely miss his one-of-a-kind homemade potato salad.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of over 60 years, Marilyn Wood Ingram; sons, Chris Ingram, Mark Ingram (Tricia); brother, Steven Ingram; sister, Linda Clary; grandson, Bobby Critcher (Krystal); granddaughter, Karri Ingram; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Finn Critcher; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
