I was very fortunate to have Virginia Campbell as my supervising teacher during my student teaching.  I then became the chorus teacher at Falling Creek MS when she left to go to Clover Hill HS.

Virginia was such a talented musician and teacher.  I learned so much from her and dreamed of reaching her level of teaching.  We kept in touch for many years during our times of working in Chesterfield County.  She played an important role in my life and I will always remember her with fondness and gratitude.

Remembering a dear friend who truly touched our lives in unforgettable ways through her musical talent . . .  I have years of fond memories of rehearsals and recitals with Virginia.  Her piano accompaniment was a beautiful gift!  My students and their families were always so grateful!  Every time I sit down at my piano, I think of Virginia now.   I am inspired to practice because Virginia sat there once upon a time.  Thanks, Virginia.  Love and peace be with you! 

Virginia was a love of mine in high school (I am not certain that she knew it).  We lost touch after graduation.  She was off to college and I to the Army.  We had lunch a few time in the early 2000s , but lost touch again after I left the Richmond area.  She has been in my thoughts often., as today when I looked her up on the internet.  I was shocked to see that she has passed on.

Please join us in honoring the Life and Legacy of Virginia Wright Campbell on Sunday, May 5th at 4:00 pm at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 6200 Courthouse Rd, in Chesterfield. There will be a Reception in the Fellowship hall following the service. 
Virginia, or "Ms. Campbell" as her students knew her, was a beloved Chorus Teacher at Clover Hill for many years, and she taught throughout the County during her tenure. She possessed a tremendous talent and made a lasting impression on her students and friends and she will be sorely missed.
