Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Althea Knight, and his brother, Pete Knight.
He is survived by his sister, Vicki Knight LeMaster (Andy); his brother, Jerry Knight (Billie Carol); dear family friend, Pat Price; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him greatly.
Bubba proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran, a role he carried with quiet pride throughout his life. He had a deep appreciation for antique cars and cherished the conversations, stories, and friendships that came along with them.
Bubba will be remembered most for his kind heart, his loyalty to those he loved, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of family and friends. His family will miss him deeply and will forever cherish the memories shared with him throughout the years.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, Bubba’s wish was for donations to be made to the VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.
