William Harold Goodman, 77, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley J. Goodman; mother, Marie Goodman; sister, Doris Yarbough; brother, Thomas Cooper; Aunt, Lillie Thomas and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor. Mr. Goodman was a retired window clerk with the postal service. He was a member of Faith Landmarks Ministries. William served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his son, Todd Goodman and a host of family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, Richmond, Virginia 23231, where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens.
