Winston Gregory McBride, 70, of Henrico County has been driving that big Corvette in the Sky since Monday, February 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Louise McBride, his brother, James Samms, and his sister, Robin “Oowey” McBride.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ellen McBride (but they’ve been together for over 50 years), his daughter, Wendy Campos-McBride, his son-in-law, Lou Campos, and a large circle of extended family and friends including Rosa McBride-Mugerson, James “Pacman” Freeman, and Richard Brumtrop.
Winston had a fond love and appreciation for all types of music, 60’s era comic books, classic TV, New York Pizza, photography, tinkering with computers, and as legend has it, he has finally gotten his “cut”!
The family will receive guests from 11 until the Celebration of Life Service time at 12pm, Thursday, March 12 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231.
