Mantlo, Yvonne Louise, 88, went to reside with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Mantlo Jr.; sisters, Mary Ragland and Lois Hamlet; and brother, Waverly "Jeff" Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Coley (Gary); grandson, John Hardy Jr. (fiancee, Shannon Trimmer); granddaughter, Angie Verlander; and six great-grandsons, Peyton, Parker, Tanner, and Noah Hardy and Avery and Evan Verlander. She has many loving nieces and nephews and was adored by many. A graduate of Varina High School, where she played basketball, and continued to play league basketball afterwards. She retired from the City of Richmond and was a member of Fort Lee Baptist Church. She was the epitome of strength, grace and selflessness. An avid sports enthusiast and country music fan, she will forever be loved and missed. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, at 12 noon at Nelsen Funeral Home.
