

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Augustine, who passed away on May 24th, 2026 at the age of 57.
Ray lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and love, touching everyone fortunate enough to know them. With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Ray, whose warmth, wit, and kindness will be missed deeply by all his grandchildren and children especially.
Ray was born in Sioux lookout by parents Jessie Roundhead and Simon Rooster now deceased. He was adopted by Janice Augustine, Joel Augustine and later stepfather John now deceased, He grew up in Ridgeway, ON with siblings Rommy, Lyndsay, Kevin and at a later age Marie. He attended Ridgeway Crystal Beach High school. He loved Roofing and was his occupation for most of his life, he took great joy and pride in his work. He was an avid gamer and played PUBG since the game released and was exceptionally good at this game. He also enjoyed playing baseball and hockey in not just Fort Erie, ON but also in Cat Lake and Mishkeegogamang First Nation. Apart from his work, gaming and recreational sports he loved the outdoors, he was a fantastic hunter and fisherman and found healing and solace to be out on the land.
Ray is remembered by his children and grandchildren, son, Zachary(Jay) Augustine (Jess Webb) Cameron, Emmett and Jordan, Son, Dakota Augustine (Glenda) children Samantha, Sydney, Erica, Gloriann and Damian, Daughter, Gabriella Augustine (Connaire Campbell) Isabella, Landon, Betty and Finley, Son, Micheal Augustine (Zoe Henhawk), Daughter, Destiny Augustine (Beven Basara), Daughter, Stephanie Augustine, Daughter, Raye Augustine, Son, Yzerman Beardy and Daughter, Meegwun Augustine. Also, stepchildren Jacques Oombash, Maria Oombash children Mika, Gabriel and Kenya, Peter Oombash, Ty Oombash, Hunter Wesley-Oombash and Antonio Wesley-Oombash. He is also survived by many loving nieces, and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings Jimmy Roundhead, Wilma Carpenter (Roy), Marie Roundhead, Rommy Augustine, Lyndsay Augustine and Kevin Burke. Predeceased by siblings Darlene Roundhead, Morris Roundhead, Joseph Roundhead, John Roundhead and Joanne Roundhead.
Williams Funeral Services have been entrusted with arrangements. A celebration of life will take place on June 10th at the Fort Erie Legion located at 130 Garrison Rd. in Fort Erie from 12 to 4 pm. Burial will take place at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery on 3900 Farr Ave. in Ridgeway at 11 am on June 11th.
