Alexander was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1926. He was a proud World War II Veteran of the US Navy. Alexander married Lorraine Tuzinowski on February 16, 1952.
Alexander had a career in material handling for General Motors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had a passion for fishing and bird watching.
Alexander is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Lorraine; children Alan (Bev) and Susan (Doug); Grandchildren Jessica, Lauren, Megan, and Allison; and Great-Grandchildren Samantha, Daniel, Kaiden and Adlee. Dearest brother of the late John, Mary, and Louie.
Alexander’s viewing will be from 9:30am to 10:00am on Friday, September 15, 2023 at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 771 Old Perch Rd., Rochester Hills, MI, in the vestibule. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester, MI. Luncheon to follow at the Golden Eagle restaurant.
