Alice Marie Siehda

Alice Marie Siehda, age 84, of Rochester Hills, was born May 7, 1941 and passed away peacefully December 22, 2025. Beloved wife of Douglas Siehda for 51 years. Loving mother of Christopher Siehda and Sarah (Adam) Markey. Dear sister of Mary Ellen (Bruce) Reister, and sister-in-law of Patricia O'Callaghan. Alice will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Alice was preceded in passing by her parents, Francis and Rose O'Callaghan; and her siblings, Beverly (Bob) Nesler and Daniel O'Callaghan.

Alice Marie Siehda was a woman defined by her fun-loving spirit and her infectious zest for life. She had an amazing laugh and a smile that could brighten any room. She was a devoted wife and mother first and foremost, building a warm and loving home that was the center of her world. Her intellectual curiosity led her to a fulfilling career in education, and she took great pride in educating her students throughout the years, sharing her profound love of history and short stories. This same passion for narrative made her creative when it came to writing. Beyond the classroom, Alice found pleasure in adventure, having a great fondness for traveling and exploring new places. She possessed a playful, thrifty nature and loved a good deal, especially when she went to garage sales. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:00am (In State 10:00am) at First Baptist Church of Rochester, 6377 Orion Road, Rochester Hills. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
