Christa Ingrid Fritzsch

Born in Germany, Christa immigrated to the United States in 1954. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guenther Fritzsch, and her mother, Halina Nehring.

Christa is survived by her children: Cornelia Debusschere (Dennis), Bernard Fritzsch (Kelly), and Angela Fritzsch-Eklund (Nancy). She was a devoted grandmother to Christopher (Jackie), Alex (Katrina), Natalie (Justin), Ryan (Alyssa), Niki, Jason, Tyler (Manda), and Analicia, and a cherished great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren.

A trained photographer, Christa had a passion for traveling, walking, gardening, and music, particularly opera. Above all, she loved everything about her family and treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donations in her memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, on March 1, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at Pixley Funeral Home on March 1, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
