I was very impressed with Dave, he was blind and was able to do incredible woodworking, miter cuts, dove tails in drawers, and keep his wood shop clean !!  I know people that have sight that couldn't do this. How do you use a electric saw and make cuts ? Crazy !!!!!
He wasn't afraid to work on his cars, clean them up for a car show, remembering that he was blind !!  He never lost his enthusiasm for muscle cars, was always up on the newest and latest styles on cars. He would be able to tell you if the new style was pleasing to him or not, and why in detail. Yes the blindness upset him, but he was always hopeful for some sort of cure and was up on the research that was heading to some sort of possible cure in the near future. I wish that we could of taken him to some sort of huge parking lot with no obstructions so that he could drive one of his cars and let er rip. I think that he was fondest of his Mustang as he always told me that he got more attention with it and loved to talk to people about it. I will miss those long phone calls in the evenings when he would call me to catch up on car talk and upcoming shows. Just wont be the same without hearing from him and going to Mustang shows with Paulette and Dave. Wally

Dave Morgan was a great guy with such a positive outlook on life. Even with his blindness, it never stopped him from accomplishing the things he wanted to do. I personally was lucky enough to know Dave and he just absolutely loved his wife and their life together. My favorite memory was cruising our mustangs to Frankenmuth for the mustang car show. We spent the entire day with Dave and Paulette and had such a good day. He was such a kind and funny man.
