Dee Anne was loved and admired by so many. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats and spent a lot of time watching her “animal shows” on television. She loved working puzzles and coloring. Dee Anne worked in a variety of industries throughout her life, most notably banking and bail bonds.
Dee Anne is survived by her sister Kennie Jo Blackwell, half-brother Denny Wharton, and cousin Dickey Walker; her two daughters and their husbands Lisa and Shannon Watts, and Jennifer and Doug Brower; grandchildren Trent and Cassi Watts, Spencer Watts, and Nicholas and Rachel Brower; plus 5 great grandchildren Adriana Contrares-Watts, Aspen Webb, Jackson Webb, Duke Watts and Zeta Watts and her many nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date in Baldwin, Michigan. In honor of her life and love of pets, donations can be made in her name to the SPCA of Texas at https://www.spca.org/.
