

She was born on September 30, 1936, in Minot, North Dakota, to John and Olga Tomko. Delores pursued a life of service and compassion, graduating from nursing school in 1976. She went on to dedicate 38 years of her life as a Registered Nurse, caring for others with kindness and professionalism.
Delores found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved snowmobiling, participating in NASCAR events with Joe, traveling, and spending cherished vacations with her family. She especially treasured her visits to Kentucky for family reunions, where lasting memories were made.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joe Deaton. Loving mother of Ron (Renee) Deaton, Sherry (the late Rick) Finch, Debbie (Tom) Krebaum, and Jody Deaton. Proud grandmother of Costas (Jennifer) Lyssiotis, Andria Finch (Pat Engle), Tony (Jacqui) Lyssiotis, James (Brittnie) Finch, Miranda Deaton (Simon Kelly), and Daniel Deaton. She was also a devoted great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.
Delores is survived by her brother, Eugene Tomko. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evangeline Joy, and her brother, Jimmy Tomko.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 15th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 16th, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Mt. Avon Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan.
