Beloved wife of the late Charles and mother of the late Laura Watson. She is survived by her daughter Linda, son-in-law Thomas and granddaughter Beth Monks of Rochester Hills. She was a special “Granny Dee” to David, Holly, Michael and Samantha Cloutier of Royal Oak and to Tim (Chrissie) Cloutier and family of Clawson. She considered Karen Phillips of Rochester Hills her third daughter.
She was born in 1929 and graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1947. She considered Garden City her home, as that is where she raised her family. She remained strong and lived independently at home with her cat Missy until early July. Strong in her faith, she was a longtime member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Rochester Hills. Among her favorite things in life were attending church, watching beautiful sunsets and rainbows, collecting rocks, fossils and crosses, and having her one margarita a year in Epcot Mexico.
