was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cyril and Helen,
and his brother, Terry.
Dennis earned multiple post-graduate degrees, which led to a
lifelong career with Lockheed Martin. For over 35 years, he
traveled the world as the Director of Finance and Information
Technology.
Outside of his professional accomplishments, Dennis's true
passion was bowling. Born into a bowling family, he picked up
the sport at an early age and was eager to master it. Over the
years, he achieved numerous perfect 300 games, a testament to
his dedication and skill. Dennis was not only an accomplished
bowler but also a passionate teacher of the sport, sharing his
knowledge with many friends and family members. His love for
the game led him to coaching professionally, where he made a
lasting impact at Lake Orion High School. As a coach, he led the
girls' team to the state finals for the last four years, a feat that
earned him great respect and admiration.
Along with his many other hobbies, Dennis had a deep love for
dogs. He and Mary Ann trained dogs for Leader Dogs for the
Blind, a cause that was very close to his heart.
Dennis’s legacy of hard work, kindness, and commitment to both
his family and his passions will be remembered by all who knew
him.
A celebration of life will be held at Abiding Presence Lutheran
Church in Rochester Hills on December 14th at 11 a.m., followed
by a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to
Leader Dogs for the Blind, in honor of Dennis's love for dogs and
his dedication to the cause.
