James was born in Detroit on June 10, 1967 to Ronald and the late Margaret Foley. He is survived by his father Ronald (Judy) Foley, his brother Mark (Lill) Foley, niece Kaela Foley, Uncle Denny (MaryAlice) Foley and Aunt Christine (John) Budd.
Jim loved baseball. As a child growing up in Sterling Heights, he played baseball on the city’s summer recreation teams. He also loved his Detroit Tigers, and every summer he looked forward to his annual trip down to the ballpark to catch a game.
Additionally, Jim really enjoyed getting together with family for holidays, parties, or just hanging out and talking.
Jim’s smiling face and pleasant disposition will be deeply missed at these family gatherings.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, from 2 to 8 pm at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 9, 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Road in Lake Orion. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
