James Lee Smith age 72, of Rochester, MI passed away on August 28, 2015. He was born in Amarillo, TX on September 11, 1942. He worked for General Motors for over 31 years and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Elks Lodge and Loyal Order of the Moose. James enjoyed fishing, golf, friends and family. He was survived by his son and daughter in-law Brian and Meg Smith, grandchild Taylor Smith, and siblings; Billy, Johnnie and Carol. A memorial gathering will be held on September 16, 2015 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307.
