Janet was born on July 27, 1951, in Bad Axe, Michigan. She was the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Watson) Sayers. Janet graduated from Port Austin High school in Port Austin, Michigan. She attended U of M, focusing on English composition that fueled her love for writing. She loved music, especially the Beach Boys growing up and introduced her cousins to their music. Janet had a great sense of humor, style, loved to travel, and was a good friend to many, especially her cousin Sandy Watson.
Janet had a career in banking and owned the title company Abstract Title with her late husband Chuck Meadows. Janet loved her family, especially her time with nieces and nephews.
Janet is survived by her sisters in law Lois Sayers and Amy Bubar. Nephews John Sayers, Luke Sayers, Jimmy Sayers and Craig Sayers. Nieces Jill Windelspecht, Lori Whitefoot and Sophie Bubar.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents Edward & Margaret Sayers. Brothers Rev. Thomas Sayers, Patrick Sayers, Brian Bubar and her nephew Mark Sayers.
Janet is in the care of Pixley Funeral Home. No services will be held at this time.
