JOANNE MARIE TROMBLY, age 82, of Shelby Township, died March 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Joanne was born on June 7, 1938 in Detroit and grew up on the Eastside. She graduated from Denby High School in 1956. Joanne was married to Earl Windnagle for 21 years. She had lived in New Port Richey, Florida and Lilburn, Georgia before moving back to Michigan in 2006. Joanne had been employed at Armada Rubber Company, and enjoyed working at the Marriott Evergreen Conference Center in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was a member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and will be greatly missed. Surviving are children Linda (Jay) Eastman, Larry (Kari) Windnagle, Colleen Woskoff, and Nancy Windnagle; grandchildren Cindy (Ralph) Macks, Jeff (Courtney) Eastman, Emily (Clayton) Smith, Nick (Chelsea) Eastman, Amber (Andrew) Clegg, Alex Windnagle, Amanda Jensen, Michael (Leah Cook) and Adam White.; great grandchildren Patrick, Griffin, Deegan, Anabelle, Charles, Henry, and Gus. Also survived by her siblings Arlene Vasara and Joyce (Jim) McDougall as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021, 11:00 am at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester. Rev. Sharon Janot officiating.
