Joseph L. Marcellin

Joseph “Joe” Lucian Marcellin, age 80, passed away on January 9, 2018. He was born on July 9, 1937 in Alameda, California to Katherine Mildred (Kinloch) and Ferdinand Lucian Marcellin. On May 23, 1964, Joe married Kathleen LaRocca in San Francisco, California. Joe was an Insurance Executive for Hartford in Detroit, Michigan.

Joe is survived by his wife, Kathleen Marcellin; two children, Michelle Mykeloff and her husband, Michael and Christopher Marcellin and his wife, Michelle; four grandchildren, Kayla and Alyssa Mykeloff, and Ellee and Jase Marcellin; sister, Kathy Smith and beloved nieces and nephews.

Joe is preceded in death by his sister, Marie Salvas; nephew, David Williams, parents Katherine and Ferdinand Marcellin.

Family and Friends are invited to a Visitation from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., in downtown Rochester, Michigan. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Dr., in Rochester, Michigan; the family will receive guests from 9:30 a.m. until Mass begins. Interment will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan.
